Description of the issue

Description:
The game exhibits two distinct crash behaviors:

  1. Immediate crash upon launching the application
  2. Crash when attempting to load save data after successful startup

Reproduction steps

Scenario 1:

  1. Launch The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  2. Game crashes immediately

Scenario 2:

  1. Launch The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  2. Wait approximately 10 seconds at title screen
  3. Attempt to load save file
  4. Game crashes immediately

From my experience, Zelda BOTW only works on macOS when hypervisor is disabled. Can you test that and share your results?

Closing as the issue has been resolved (even if a bandaid fix), and nobody currently is able to fix this even if they wanted to (no mac).
