Overview

In some games like Pokemon Violet / Scarlet there's an in-game camera or "photo mode" where you can take screenshots of the game while also using special settings like selfie poses, color filters, changing the angle, change NPC expressions etc.

However, you can't simply take a screenshot of that using Ryujinx becaues there's UI for the different camera settings that you can't hide:

Doesn't the pictures save in your save file?, for TOTK it saves my pictures into my save file/album directory

@notliam1 That's because the pictures taken in TOTK actually matter inside the game for the compendium and for certain quests. For other games, i.e. SMO, the in-game photo mode asks you to take a photo by pressing the screenshot button, which is when the gui gets hidden and the screenshot gets saved to the switch's album.

It would be good if they could just add an album to the SD card folder featuring a dropdown into the album and allowing games to save to it.

It doesn't for Pokemon Violet

Interesting, on Pokemon Violet/Scarlet, you just press "A" and it takes the photo and saves it to your Switch's album without the UI.
