Description of the issue

when using "Guest Internet Access/LAN Mode" the game gets trapped in the loading screen at the start forever!

PS, I don't know if this applies to a first time start where it makes you personalize the character in the tutorial level.

Reproduction steps

  1. Enable "Guest Internet Access/LAN Mode"
  2. Start the game,
  3. Wait.

I had to stop the emulator as it seems to never stop trying to reach what I can only guess is the dns of "t-dce9377b-lp1.lp1.t.npln.srv.nintendo.net" at line 301

You're right; you need a mod that patches out the need to connect to Nintendo.
